Renovation of a home roof in Westend

A scan of this roof’s surface revealed multiple areas where water was leaking through. Our proposal to address the issues on this location included a thorough cleaning before opening up problem areas to assess damage and install one-way vents to keep the roof structure dry as needed. Installation of Lava 20 then would ensure many more years of water protection.

Installation

After cleaning, wet areas were opened and allowed to dry before sealing them with Lava Detail 20. One-way vents were installed to help ventilate beneath the roof where water entry had been the worst.

A double layer of Lava 20 coating with fiberglass reinforcement weas installed to ensure the long-term performance of the roof.

As a safety measure, granules were cast into the wet coating around the ladder to make access easier.
